Problem solving is inherent with playing soccer and providing practices for soccer players that help them evaluate and make decisions has a number of benefits including developing critical thinking skills, decision-making under pressure, better communication and teamwork, and self-reliance. Professional coaches provide a variety of games that vary in complexity and have the ability to:
- Exposes kids to different playing situations. When kids play different games, they are exposed to different playing situations, such as different field sizes, different numbers of players, and different rules. This helps them to learn how to adapt to different situations and solve problems on the fly.
- Challenges kids to think critically. Different games often require kids to use different skills and strategies. This challenges kids to think critically about the game and how to best use their skills to win.
- Teaches kids how to work together. Many games require kids to work together as a team to achieve a common goal. This teaches them how to communicate effectively, make decisions, and support each other.

Tactical

Psychological development is about teaching players how to manage their emotions and stay focused on the game. Players develop confidence, resilience, mental toughness, learn how to deal with pressure and setbacks.
Physical
Physical development is about helping players to develop the strength, speed, and endurance they need to play the game at a high level. Players develop their fitness and coordination through a variety of means.
