Thank you for visiting Swan Soccer a part of the Fairo Sport network.
After 6 years of being based in Tacoma, as of this July, I and my family are now located in Spokane, Washington.
I am excited to bring the very best to the field each day to focus on the development of aspiring soccer players providing professional training for Individuals, small Groups, and teams.
Whether a player trains with either Fairo Goalkeeping, "Zone 91" striker-keeper, positional-play session, or combining all three, players will have fun, be challenged, and want to come back.

My Call to Action
The game has been a catalyst for adventure and change and foundation for respite and both have provided me the foundations for lifelong learning.
Raised traveling the world as the son of a military officer, I formed lifelong friendships and was afforded opportunities to play all over the US. This upbringing instilled a sense of wanderlust and I have continued to be a traveler of the world both as a player, coach, and teacher.
From 1991 - 1993 I played with professional teams in Chile and Bolivia and much of my coaching focus and passion stems from that experience.
My latest experience brought me Bucaramanga, Colombia where I had the opportunity to train first team goalkeepers and worked daily with the U20, U17, and U15 academy teams.
My early experience in South America helped me become fluent in Spanish and earned a degree in Spanish Literature from CU Boulder, and my aptitude for learning languages provided the opportunity to be a linguist in the Army where I was learned Russian in Monterrey, California, and later serve in Tver, Russia where I was also able to play goalkeeper with the reserves of a professional team. Later that year I played for the All-Army team. (2000)After leaving the Army I was the club coach for the University of Colorado, then worked in Valle de Bravo, Mexico at Pumas’ Academy, and moved to Philadelphia in 2002 and coached for Frankford High School and Germantown Academy (2008.)
After a 1 year bout with Guillain-Barré Syndrome which left me paralyzed I got back to coaching; High school in Florida and Virginia, and finally settling in Tacoma, Washington (2015)
Since starting his goalkeeping academy in 2016 I have trained hundreds of goalkeepers throughout The Pacific and Inland Northwest. I was the is the Goalkeeper Trainer and team coach for Eagleclaw FC where I was entrenched in the organized game model and training methodology of Valencia CF .
Through Fairo Goalkeeping and Elite Goalkeeper Camps, I have run year-round multiple clinics for small groups and multiple camps each summer. I also work closely with a number of clubs as a contracted goalkeeping training provider and as a guest coach providing positional play sessions.
My hope is that players that work with me discover in training the knowledge, skills, and goal-setting abilities to help them to successfully continue in the sport at the highest level as well as to create pathways by which they can be healthy contributing members of the community beyond the training grounds.
